1. Watch the Sunrise at Haleakalā National Park

Take a snorkel or dive trip to Molokini, a crescent-shaped volcanic islet teeming with marine life. The crystal-clear waters make it one of the best snorkeling spots in Hawaii. this year I was fortunate to take two trips to Molokini with the Trilogy Excursions. First class operation. From December to April, humpback whales migrate to Maui’s warm waters. 7. Go Surfing or Windsurfing on the North Shore

Well this is my backyard. I been surfing at Hookipa for over 50 years. My family is three generations of surfers. I also windsurf, but being a late bloomer, I am a pretty average windsurfer. You can take lessons at Kanaha Beach and lean to foil or windsurf. Winter is just kicking in, so you can always enjoy watching the best windsurfers in the world at hookipa, pretty exciting. For water sports, Maui’s North Shore is world famous. Beginners can take surf lessons at Kihei or Lahaina, while advanced riders test themselves at Ho‘okipa Beach or even Jaws during big-wave season.


8. Visit Upcountry Kula Farmers Market

Saturday morning Kula Farmers farmers market, from 7am to 11am. You will find fresh fish, baked goods, local honey, veggies, Hot dishes that are so tasty. Really there is something for everyone. Every other Saturday I head to the farmers market for fresh veggies, and starter plants for my garden. It really is a hot spot for local's and visitors alike. 9. Visit the Island Of Lanai Day Trip

There are two ways to get to Lanai. You can take the ferry, it's pretty reasonable, or again Trilogy Excursions for a first class adventure, sailing into the harbor in Lanai. They provide snorkeling gear, dive gear, volleyball, and provide a first class lunch at the harbor. If you take the ferry, pack your own lunch, snorkeling gear, The beach is just beautiful. Oh you can have lunch at the Four Seasons, and take a bus to Lanai Village. Either way, it's a perfect day, one of my A-list recommendation's.


10. Feast at a Hawaiian Lūʻau

No Maui vacation is complete without a traditional lūʻau. Enjoy hula, fire dancing, and Hawaiian food like kalua pig and poke. Popular options include Old Lāhainā Lūʻau and Feast at Lele, or the Wailea Marriott has a fun Luau.
