Pineapple Cottage is surrounded by gardens and fruit trees, with a spacious lanai where you can sip morning coffee and listen to birds singing. Inside, you’ll find everything you need—from a full kitchen to cozy living spaces—so you can settle in and feel right at home. Two bedroom cottage, with a king and queen bed, sleeps four.
Explore Maui’s Northshore Like a Local
- Road to Hana: One of my favorite drives starts just minutes away. Take your time and enjoy waterfalls, black sand beaches, and hidden gems along the way to Hana.
- Hiking Adventures: Haiku and nearby Makawao offer some of Maui’s best hiking. Twin Falls is a great spot for families, while more adventurous hikers will love Makawao Forest Reserve.
- Surfing and Beaches: Ho’okipa Beach is famous for its waves and sea turtles—whether you surf or just want to watch the action, it’s a must-see. Hookipa also has world class windsurfing. Baldwin Beach Park is perfect for swimming and a morning walk on the beach, then breakfast in Paia Town.
- Local Music and Culture: Maui’s music scene is alive in Haiku. I recommend catching a show at Casanova or exploring the local farmers markets for fresh produce and crafts on Saturday morning in Kula.
- Ocean Vodka Distillery: A unique Maui experience—tour the farm, learn about sustainable distilling, and sample spirits with ocean views. And catch some live music and a stunning sunsets, it's a must see event.
- Great Places to Eat: I’ve lived here for years and love Nuka Sushi, Colleen’s at the Cannery, and Pauwela Café—all local favorites with fresh, island-inspired menus. You should also explore Paia Town, Mama's Fish House, Fresh pizza at Flat Bread, and Paia Fish Market .

Haiku’s climate is mild and comfortable year-round. It’s perfect for outdoor adventures, relaxing on the lanai, or exploring everything Maui’s Northshore has to offer. I never get tired of driving past Hookipa Beach Park, drive through Maliko Gulch, then turn on Haiku road, we are just a stones throw away to our property located on 2.5 acres.
